YouAnd measures the motivational patterns of people.

YouAnd is the latest generation of drive measurements. First there was Management Drives, then RealDrives and now there is YouAnd!

YouAnd is a platform of online assessments to help people and organizations grow and develop. Our assessments help with the choices that are important for personal and professional growth.

We believe that growth is only possible if people, work and organization fit together. YouAnd measurements therefore always look at what people want and how organizations function. Because whatever people and organizations want, it has to happen in that tension!

YouAnd assessments help you make choices about strategy, culture, management, inflow and outflow and individual career paths.

Drives and the role of wanting

YouAnd measures people's motivation patterns. And those motivations tell us a lot about people. We believe that 'wanting' is a very important aspect of our humanity. Our energy and emotions are strongly controlled by our wanting.

We do not pretend at all that we measure something like a fixed personality. In fact, we do not believe in that either. We see people as changeable, learning and developing. And also as wonderfully flexible. At home we are different than at work, or on the sports field.

We are constantly switching, depending on the context in which we move. But it is true that people have relatively stable motivational patterns in stable environments. YouAnd measures the motivations of people at work. We therefore do not make statements about their motivations in other environments. Human behavior cannot simply be related to motivational patterns. This is because people adapt to their circumstances. The work, colleagues and managers require adaptation.

The environment called 'work' is of course very diverse. It makes quite a difference whether you work in a technical environment or in a care environment, or a commercial environment. But no matter what the environment looks like, it influences our behavior. In fact, you could say that our behavior is controlled by our motives and by our environment.

If the environment allows room for personal interpretation of the work, then the behavior is strongly controlled by the individual motivation pattern. In more restrictive environments (for example with many rules and controls) it is the environment that largely controls the behavior. For a good understanding of behavior, you must therefore not only measure the motivation patterns of people, but also how they see their work environment.

Which drives do we measure?

YouAnd Methode

YouAnd is a measuring instrument that provides unique insights into the human factors of work like no other instrument can.

Drives are measurable and have a strong relationship with what we do and feel. Testing drivers provides insight into when, how and why people and teams excel. What people want is not random: we consider certain things more important than others and make choices based on that. Stable patterns lie beneath these choices.

We analyze the context and effectiveness of behavior based on aspects such as abstract versus concrete thinking, information processing, ways of thinking (what and how thinkers), sensitivity and calmness, and the meaning of work. YouAnd is therefore a measuring instrument that offers unique insights into the human factors of work, like no other instrument can.

The service package is designed to help make choices regarding strategy, culture, management, inflow and outflow and individual career paths:
